Equipment Shops When buying equipment it is always good to get advice from experts so although there are a number of outdoor shops available below are caving specific shops who offer an online store. Hitch n Hike have a wide selection of caving equipment and outdoor gear and are based in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire. cave climb are based in Cheddar in Mendip and have a good selection of caving equipment and also hire out kit. Inglesport are based in Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales and have an extensive range of caving and outdoor equipment aswell as hiring out lights for caving. Bernies Cafe are a cafe and caving shop based in Ingleton (right next door to Inglesport) and sell a good range of caving equipment. Caving Supplies are based in Buxton in Derbyshire and have a large range of caving equipment. |

Equipment Manufacturers There are a huge selection of gear manufacturers in the outdoor industry all of which may be useful to you when caving but we have tried to give you the ones that are used extensively by cavers while going underground. Petzl are a long established global brand that produce helmets, lighting and assessories such as belay devices and jammers widely used and trusted by cavers worldwide. Viper are a fairly young brand to caving but have produced lights for biking for some time and now prduce one of the brightest caving lights on the market. Scurion are a European lighting manufacture that produce the Scurion light which is one of the brightest lights on the market.
